I miss this page. I quit for awhile but I know in my heart that I will return with a vengeance. A poet needs rest for sometime.Lol. Well, I missed too my circle of friends here. I actually do not have the full intention of revisiting this page at this point but I remember my fellow poets. Guys, I would like you to know that I recently design my own page. And this is now I owe my new home. Visit me sometime at www.janleemark.com

These are the output of my HRM students in one of their major class. I just want to share their creativity in having all these. These photos may not be the best but I consider their work a masterpiece. Come and view all and have a piece of their talents.

This Uncle had given me so much
             by: janleemark

This Uncle had given me so much Love

Chasing and covering my fears in the absence of my Dad

Guiding my heart to realize that life is not unfair

Bringing his little fellow a smile not a pout

Ringing in my vision not to sip in my wry mouth

This Uncle had given me so much Hope

Pushed me up to cover the uncover dope

Thread my hands to revive the unfading song in my heart

Tap my back and pop my desire so not to be hurt

This Uncle had given me so much Patience

He taught this trial and error waiting game

Life can wait your fame will be brought by a mame

Believe in what you want to do, no one is a lame

This Uncle had given me so much Confidence

Bathing my achievements in a perfect shadow

Pulling the grass gaping the path in full window

Defending the dawn when the night tried to lock my shelf

This Uncle had given me Smile

Leaving my thoughts not in fancy mood

Floating in midair subject to his soft spoken whisper

Liking him much a beloved father to pamper

This Uncle had given me so much Inspiration

That I fell in love and being loved in return

Taught me the unity of matrimony

It was a perfect couple for prosperity

This Uncle had given me Unity

Where peace becomes the foundation

And freedom joined in union sanctity

His love is a chancel like a sanctuary

This uncle had slept for awhile

Soon he’ll be back to pour miracles

Not in my dreams nor in reality

Here in my heart flowing with the clergy and his choir

Symphony of a Soft Soul
     by: janleemark

t'was when you were young

When the symphony of words

and the music -

the rythm of heart

invaded your soft soul.

But you paused.

Did the hundreds of summers

and those falls that has passed

nurtured -

the flame of passion within?

have you learned to strike

the pen for the cries

and learned to shout

so you can stand..

t'was just,

it seems that it just flickered

the mem'ries of your youth

and then again..

Here you are..

just another journey

of a soft soul with his symphony..

Today marks the 22nd Death Anniversary of my father. Whew, two decades of longing for his sweet embrace. Dad, you are really being missed. Come sometime even in my dreams. And guys it's been months of my absence here in xanga. Welcome me back. I almost forgot my own password and Wow, a lot of changes happened though. I almost lost picking up the new environment of this new xanga format.
